The Copa Del Rey Trophy is awarded to the Spanish team that wins the annual football or soccer cup competition. In 2011 the Real Madrid team won the trophy back after 18 years of hard work. Real Madrid has won the Copa Del Rey Trophy 18 times since the competition was begun in 1902. There are so many great club teams out there. However, there are five or six that stand head and shoulders above the rest. From Spain, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the two teams that everyone wants to beat. They have won the Spanish league a record number of times between the two of them and they have been involved in many European Cup finals as well.
